About
This blog is still in its inception and will need time to grow. First and foremost, it is an outlet for thoughts.
For now, I will mostly detail the excrutiating experience of blowing the whistle (on scientific misconduct) in academia. I just need to get that out the way.
After that, the topics will change and probably circle around cognition, society, and the perception of reality. In time, I hope to unravel the thread that seemingly connects it all.

A bit about me
After my master's in cognition, behaviour and neurobiology, I briefly worked in big pharma, only to realise that world wasn't for me. I returned to science, but wound up in... let's say problematic circumstances - and the more I tried to fix things, the more issues I uncovered. Ultimately, I burned out in disillusionment and I'm still recuperating. Turns out an individual can't fix the system. And make no mistake, academia needs fixing. You can read more about that here.
Though rough, the experience clarified the value of autonomous thinking and brought me back to my roots. Now, I focus my own ideas, hoping this site proves fertile ground to let them grow, inspire reflection, and expand perspectives.
